Lunch dates

Somehow in the past 6-9 months - Brian and I have developed a routine of having a monthly lunch date. It is never planned. It just kind of happens. One of us will randomly call each other in the late morning and say, "Are you busy? Do you want to meet for lunch?" It all kind of happens spontaneously - which is the nice thing about it.

We have gone to very simple places - like Chili's, Fudruckers, Red Robin, Salsarita's and Panera. It is not the point of where we go. It is just nice to meet up in the middle of the day and have a quiet lunch without the company of a 3-year old. It is kind of like a secert date in the middle of the day. I like to think of it as a secret rendezvous.

Anyway - today we went somewhere nice. We went to the Century House. I had a gift card and we decided to use it. It was by far the nicest lunch date we have had. Not to mention that we both took a lot of our meals home - so now we have dinner for tonight!
