Potassium, Calcium and fevers

I am happy to report that I ate 1/2 a banana last night and took 2 calcium/magnesium tablets and I was able to fall peacefully to sleep.

That is until it was 2 in the morning and Maddie woke up hysterically crying with a massive fever and then she threw up. Now - Maddie has never thrown up. Or - maybe she did once - but it was a long time ago and not a big deal.

Luckily I figured out last night that she was about to throw up and we made it to the bathroom so it didn't happen all over the carpet. Anyway - I guess she has the flu. Her fever is 102 this morning and last night she was refusing to take medicine. However- I managed to bribe her to take it this morning with promises of cartoons, cheerios and apple juice (diluted of course).
She took it and now I can breathe easy. Until the next 4 hours passes and I need to give it to her again.

So - the good news is that the RLS was gone last night. The bad news is that my daughter is sick.
