Sunday Edition:If you have a big home improvement project - always offer to pay cash. The contractor usually knocks off the tax or 10%. For instance, we had gutters put on our house right after we moved in. We paid cash and he knocked off about $150.
When we had our patio put in this summer - we paid cash and he knocked off $200.
It is always worth asking. Contractors like it because they don't have to "put it on the books" and we like it because we can save a bit of money!

Can you just start a "Strech Your Dollar" Blog???? I just want to know what is new with the Grabers. I think I am going to start a "how to keep warm" Blog. I will talk about jackets and blankets and a lot of other stuff people don't know about...
also, you may not want to post on how you are helping people break the law.
I hope you know that my husband is just trying to get a rise out of you. He's teasing you b/c he likes you and he knows exactly which buttons to push to get you going.
