It is snowing. Hard. This means that all the schools are closed today - including Maddie's school. This means that Maddie is home with me all day long. This normally would be fine. However, we are having work done on our basement (which is where all the toys are housed.)
So - right now the basement is off limits. This means that Aidan, Maddie and myself are all confined to upstairs. This means that I have a very antsy child on my hands. Right now she is napping. Thank goodness. So is Aidan. He is asleep in the swing - well kind of. He keeps waking up and making noises and tossing and turning. He is being extra fussy today too.
I sit here and watch the snow come down harder and harder and I yearn to go outside. For a walk. With my kids. Wouldn't that be nice? Instead we are stuck inside. Ahhh. The joys of living in the great northeast.
