Easter Egg Hunt

We went to the Easter Egg Hunt this morning. It was very cold. But - we had to do it. We didn't do it last week because it was raining. It didn't matter that it was cold because it was over in about 2 minutes! The candy was spread out all over a field and there are specific age groups that you are grouped with.

The whistle blows and the kids dash to get the candy and it's gone in about 2 minutes.

I was a little disappointed. Isn't the point of a Easter Egg Hunt supposed to be that you actually HUNT for the eggs? This was just kind of like - run and get the candy at top speed! And who can get the most candy??? It was kind of like a stampede.

Oh well. It's the experience that counts - right?
