Electric Box

We have an ugly electric box at the far end of our front yard. Not only is it ugly - but it technically isn't on our property. However, Brian mows to the left of the ugly electric box - so it kind of looks like it is on our property. Thus - this makes us kind of the owners of this eyesore. Even though we aren't really. But - I don't see anyone else trimming the bushes or weeding around the ugly box. Plus - we don't have any neighbors directly next to us. Which makes us even more the owners of the fantastic electric box.

But, I digress. The area around it always gets tons of weeds and you really have to keep up with it. And it's just really annoying. Annoying because it's not our property and even more annoying because there are these pricker bushes that were planted there by the previous owners of the house. I want to dig the pricker bushes out - but that's another story for another day. Anyway - Brian got the great idea to go next door into the empty lot where there are tons and tons of rocks and then put the rocks around the electric box area. This would then lessen the need to weed and it would also make the area look a lot better.

Anyway - this was all easier said than done. Rocks are heavy. It took Brian about 3 hours of back and forth with the wheelbarrow, and he still has another side to do. Here is what it looks like so far. I definitely think it looks a lot better than just random dirt and weeds around it. Don't you think? He is doing a fine job. Go Brian.
