It's the Most Wonderful time of the year

Call me a dork. But - I love September. Not just because it's the beginning of Fall. But because it's back to school time. There is something about the freshness of a new school year that just gets me happy and excited. New clothes. New school supplies. New pens, pencils, backpacks, shoes and lunch bags! The newness of it all makes me giddy and happy. I actually can't wait until Maddie gets older and has homework!

I know. I am a dork. And a nerd. But - I always liked school. I liked the idea of starting fresh at the beginning of September and having new things to learn.

Anyway - Maddie started Pre-K today. It's hard to believe she will be going off to kindergarten next year! She was very excited for school to start this year. She babbled about it all weekend and all the way to school in the car. However, once we got to school - she became really shy. However - it was all good. She is a drama queen and she had a great day as soon as we (the parents) walked out of the classroom.

Ahhh. September. The most wonderful time of the year.
