Trick Or Treat

It's been all about "Halloween" for the past 2 days.

First, Maddie had a parade at school on Friday afternoon. She wore her giraffe costume for that event. However, after that wa all said and done, she begged us to let us wear her cheerleader costume for trick-or-treating on Saturday. Since it turned out to be in the 60's on Saturday - it all worked out perfectly and she wasn't too cold. Aidan was a giraffe and I think he enjoyed his first Halloween.

We started the festivities around 3:30 PM and we had a large group come with us. Lots of family and friends. The kids had a blast, running from house to house. Luckily, we were able to walk around for about 45 minutes before the rain started. But - that didn't dampen our spirits. After trick-or-treating, we headed over to a friend's house for dinner and it turned out be a great time. The kids played. The adults ate and talked. A good time was had by all!
