Welcome Spring!

It's been all sorts of busy over here this past week.

Besides the consignment sale, on Tuesday night, I took my mom out for her birthday on Thursday night. We had a great time. We went to the Outback, ate some yummy food, and shared a margarita (which, by the way was excellent and quite a deal for only $3.50). We did some shopping at LL Bean and both of us ended up with a really cute hip blazer. She ended up with green and I ended up with pink. Very mother-daughter like - wouldn't you say?

That brought us to Friday. I had to work a shift at the American Girl Fashion show for the Junior League. It was honestly the last thing I wanted to do on a gorgeous Friday night. But, Janis and carpooled and made the trek to Albany Country Club where we worked our shift. It turned out to be great fun and it was lots of fun to see the little girls showing up with their dolls. I have to say that Maddie has NO clue about American Girl. And I am in no hurry to let her know about its existence!

Today was another busy day with ballet for Maddie and a birthday party for one of the girls in her class after that. Then we made a quick trip to Stride Rite to get both kids some durable summer shoes and then I squeezed in a run. I upped the anty and started running 3 minutes and walking 1 minute for 2 miles. I think I did pretty good!

And that brings us to now. I am ready to settle in and watch a movie with Brian.

Happy Spring and Happy Birthday Mom!
