Attacking the ropes

Back in October when Brian and I went away for the weekend, the original plan was to do a ropes course. You know - where you get harnessed up and go up in trees and do all sorts of craziness that includes stuff up high and ziplines? Yeah. That.

Well, it never worked out because I had a cyst on my wrist and it was so painful, there was no way in hell that I was going to be able to use my wrist. So we didn't do it. But we promised each other that we would revisit the idea.

And we have. My wrist is feeling fine now, and we are going tomorrow up to Bolton Landing and participating in a 3.5 hour ropes course. So exciting! I can't wait. Of course, I am nervous. I have heard it's quite challenging and that you need a lot of upper body strength. (See picture below of the crazy lady). Mmmm.

Will I be brave enough to attempt this tomorrow? I sure hope so. Regardless, it's a day off and a day with my hub and that's all good too. Think of it as an adventure date.

Wish me luck!
