Happy Birthday to Maddie!

My daughter is 3 years old today.

How did that happen? Time goes so fast!

Hard to believe that 3 years ago at this very moment - I was in the hospital giving birth.

I feel like this week has been absolutely nuts. Between the patio, Maddie's bedroom furniture, Maddie's little cold, and planning her birthday party - I am about to lose my mind! Not to mention that Brian decided to run the sprinkler yesterday for a really long time and it made our water turn brown since we have well water. So - now I have brown toliet water. AGH!

Anyway - Maddie's bedroom furniture arrived yesterday. Maddie even slept in her new room last night! She was very excited to go to bed and didn't fall out -which I was very nervous about. Doesn't she look like an angel?

The room is far from done. We still need to get a white mirror and hang some pictures - but then it should be all set. I am just so glad she loves it. A special thanks goes out to Grammy and Papa for buying us the furniture for her birthday!

Anyway - I just got off the phone with Larry - the concrete guy. He promises he will be here later this afternoon to finish the patio. It still needs to be hosed down and sealed and they need to take all the stakes out of the ground.

We also had to change the birthday party date. Instead of having it tomorrow - we are having it on Sunday. This meant that a number of people can't come now - including Uncle Christopher and Aunt Brenda. It is a bummer - but tomorrow is supposed to be rainy and stormy all day - so we had to change it.
