Boy Crib Bedding

I admit it. I am overwhelmed.

I am in crib bedding hell.

At first I thought I would just use Maddie's crib bedding. But - then I realized it was slightly girlish. So - I decided to consign it in the consignment sale.

Then Brian informed me he wanted a soccer theme. I looked all over and there are not a ton of soccer-themed crib bedding out there. After a while he agreed that we shouldn't give a specific sport theme to the room. After all - what if this baby boy doesn't even like soccer?

Then Janis found the "T is for Train" set for an awesome price. Brian liked the train theme. But - after getting it home I wonder if it is a little too busy. I am a bit of a simplistic person. I feel like the train theme might be a bit too busy for the small nursery room.

So - now I am searching online and I think after looking and looking, I have discovered that I want a brown room. I found some cute bedding that is brown in color with brown plaid and if we paint the walls a light tan/khaki - - I think it would be really cute. The problem is that the set I really like (see photo) is way more than I want to spend. I am trying to be practical since this kid will only be in a crib for about 2 years. I am trying to find something cute for a decent price.

This is no easy feat. Anyway - I am getting a bit frustrated. At least I think I have narrowed it down to a color...
