The Pregnancy Card

I played the "pregnancy card" the other day.
I admit it. I used my bulging belly to do something that I wasn't supposed to do.
We were going into the Times Union Center for American Idol and I had a bottle of water. It was laying across the top of my purse. There was no way I could hide it. Brian mentioned to me as we were walking toward security that they were going to make me throw it away.

Sure enough - the security guard said, "You need to throw that out. It is too visible."

I looked up at him and put my hand on my belly and said, "I am pregnant. I need this water."

He looked at me and waved me through. I looked at Brian and said, "I can't believe I just did that."

Brian said, "You might as well use the belly to your advantage."

He is right. I might as well take advantage of it. There is no way the security guard was going to say "NO" to a pregnant lady.

Mmmm. Now what else can I get away with?
