Sickness

We have had a little bit of sickness over here. It started on Sunday. Maddie slept over at Grandma Graber's house and came home with a fever. It was low-grade. No big deal. It continued into Monday. She stayed home from school. It was low-grade all day until about 6:30 PM and then it spiked up to 102.7. After a rough night, she woke up on Tuesday morning with no fever at all.

We kept her home again. Wednesday she had the day off because of Veteran's day. Still no fever. This morning she went to school. I got a phone call around 11:30. It was the school nurse saying that her temperature was 99.2. Okay. No big deal.

I went and picked her up and now she is napping while I try to get some work done. I couldn't get an accurage temperature before she went to sleep - but I do know it was above 99. Hmmm. I don't like this sickness. Not one bit. I really hope Aidan doesn't get it.

However, if we are going to get it - I guess this is a good week to get it. There is nothing major going on. Thanksgiving is still 2 weeks away. Christmas is weeks and weeks away. So - now is the time I guess. It just stinks.
