Updates

Ahhh. Yes. Another Monday is here. And - I think we are all back to normal. Maddie is back to school. Aidan seems fine. The sickness seems to have left our house - for now! Let's hope it stays away.

This past weekend, I had my college girls come for the night. It was fun. Too bad it was raining all day on Saturday. But we hung out for the afternoon and chatted. Then we went to D'Raymond's for dinner and ended up at The Shamrock after dinner. If you have never heard of it - don't feel too bad. I never had either. It's a random bar that had about 6 people in there. There was karaoke from 9-midnight - so we basically sang karaoke all night. Very random - but very fun. Sometimes- the unplanned things turn out to be the best times.

I won't get into the details of how we actually ended up at The Shamrock. Let's just say that a cute D'Raymonds waiter was involved and we were trying to hook Janean up with him. Come to find out - he had a girlfriend of 8 years! Okay ---- then why did he invite us to go there???? Silly stupid boy.

Anyway - I have my Christmas cards addressed and ready to send out. I also sent Aidan's invitations out for his first birthday party. After a lot of going back and forth, we decided to just have a family party. Poor kid. I know he will be screwed for his entire life. The cutie pie isn't even one year yet - and already he is getting smaller parties than his sister gets. I guess that's what happens when you have a December baby.
