As I left my house today (for the first time since 12/31) - I sighed. I hadn't realized how cold and snowy it was. I had to run to the post office and I had Aidan with me. I had two packages to mail. I gathered Aidan, the packages and my purse and sloshed into the Post office.
It was annoying to say the least. I briefly thought about how much easier life would be if we lived in warm temperatures year-round where we didn't have to bundle the kids up and deal with snow and ice. Wouldn't that be wonderful? What a different life we would have. We could be outside year-round. More fresh air, less sickness, a healthier lifestyle. It would be great.
So - why do we live here? I guess because we were raised here. Both our families are here. We have jobs here. That's why. It doesn't mean I have to like winter. Only 3 months until Spring!!!
