Crazy Week

It has been a crazy week and it's only Wednesday.

It started with some crazy news at work on Monday that I can't really get into here. However, let's just say -there was stress involved. Lots of stress. But - it all turned out okay in the end and let's just say that I am feeling especially grateful right now.

Meanwhile, we are in the midst of picking our vacation house for next summer. This was the first year where we actually had three fantastic choices and we honestly couldn't decide which one to pick. Each house had its own pros and cons. However, in the end, we finally picked one and it is a great one! We are so excited. Summer can't come fast enough.

My Christmas cards arrived today from Winkflash. I addressed them and stamped them and they are ready to go. I need to hold myself back from mailing them before Wednesday!

I delved into the Christmas decorations on Monday night and got the mantle decorated. The outdoor lights are sitting on a chair waiting for Brian to get outside and do them! Waiting. Waiting.

I took yesterday morning off and went to Maddie's school to volunteer in the classroom. I worked on a Phonics station with the kids where they rolled a dice and had to identify a sight word. It was fun to see how the class interacted.
