I have wanted to plant a garden for a long time. We tried to do it last year. It just didn't pan out. Life got in the way and we never got around to doing it.
This year we decided to give it a try. We went to Home Depot and bought a raised garden bed. It is 4X4 and made out of cedar. You throw some topsoil in it and then plant away.
Janis recently planted a garden and fortunately for me she had done a ton of research on gardens. So I did what she did.
We did a square foot garden. Instead of planting in rows, you plant in 1x1 squares. Supposedly it yields more veggies. Interesting.
Here's the result:
Here's what in my garden:
Onions
Scallions
Green bell pepper
Cherry tomoatoes
Jet Star tomatoes
Better Boy tomatoes
Cilantro
Zuchinni squash
Burpless cucumber
Regular cucumber
Now - let's hope it starts producing! I hope it does...
