Today's run called for 5 miles. After the 11 mile disaster run on Saturday, I was kind of anxious to get back out there and have a good run.
And I did. Well - kind of. I went out and ran 2.2 miles. Then I went into my house, ate some sports jelly beans and drank some water. Then I headed back out and finished my run. I was happy that it was a breezy day and not too hot and that I felt somewhat decent while running.
I think the moral of my running story is that I need fuel. Lots of fuel. I need sports jelly beans. I need water. And I might even need some electrolytes.
