It's hard to believe that it is August. Whew. Where did July go???
I ran 66 miles during July, and I did a lot of cross training. I have been taking a Focus Master class every Friday and it is a ton of fun. The class consists of moving through six different boxing stations. It is a great form of therapy, as I get to punch, hit, and listen to loud music and let out some aggression for 30 minutes.
I also dragged out the mountain bike and rode 3 miles. The plan is to continue riding the bike at least once a week to build stronger leg muscles.
The half marathon is only 2 months away and it's time to get serious! My mileage should increase drastically during August and September.
