Molly and Sam left today. I have to admit that they were great little dogs. They were great with the kids and very loving and snuggly. I was almost sad to see them go.
However, it is nice to get back to normal. Gracie is especially happy to see them go. I think she was put out a little that these 2 dogs were invading her space. She is happily sleeping next to Brian and seems content.
As soon as they left, I cleaned the house from top to bottom. I vacuumed, I mopped, I sprayed nice-smelling spray throughout the house to get rid of that "dog" smell. I windexed the sliding glass window since there were doggy nose prints on it. When I was done, it felt really good.
There's nothing like a clean house. I must admit that I miss the dogs.
