It started out with an early morning run yesterday. I managed to run 30 minutes without stopping. That was a pretty big deal.
After a quick breakfast and shower, Maddie and I went off to a neighborhood garage sale. Let's just say that I hit the motherload at this sale. It was nuts. There must have been 10-12 houses right in a row that had tons of clothing, and toys for kids. I got a ton of clothes for Maddie that were 5 cents a piece. Yes. You read that right! FIVE CENTS. I got a Cozy Coupe for Aidan that was $3. I got a couple DVD's for $1 each and another Barbie for Maddie at $1. It was crazy! I was estatic.
Anyway - after the thrill of the garage sale, I took Maddie to dance class and then we went home and had a quick visit with Cortney. Then it was off to run some errands.
Today, Brian is at soccer and then he is taking the kids to a 1st birthday party. Happy Birthday to Quinn B!
I won't be going to the party because there is a scheduled group run today and we are actually running the Freihofer's Race course. It's important to be there so I can be familiar with the course. I am a little nervous. I guess the plan is to walk 1/4 mile and then run the rest of the way. I hope I can do it!
Hope you all are having a great weekend.
Enjoy some photos. I was experimenting with the new camera.
