Patio

There has been a little remodeling over here at our house. As in - a whole new patio! Yes. We decided to take the plunge and do it. I mean - why not? You only live once. And as someone once told me - "You can't take it with you so you might as well spend it while you are here!"

Anyway - the demolition of our old 3-year old cracked, chipped patio took place on Monday. And here is what we have today!

It's not done yet - but it's coming along nicely. Tomorrow the fire pit and seating wall will go in and I have to say that I am digging those circles. So pretty!

It has been quite the process to get here. From interviewing about 10 contractors to picking the pavers to creating the design to finally making the decision that we should do it - I am finally glad it's almost over.

And when it is - it's time for a party. In our yard. Just bring your own booze.
